Frequently Asked Questions
What Makes Birdman Guitars Different from the Hype?
Most guitar companies just copy what people were playing fifty years ago because famous rockstars used them, or they focus entirely on how a guitar looks rather than how it feels. Birdman does things differently in three main ways:
We actually listen to players: Instead of ignoring feedback, we use player suggestions to continuously improve our guitars (like the Finch). If something doesn't feel right or needs better access, we tweak the design for the next version.
Built for real human bodies and long-term use: We don't believe in outdated traditions just for the sake of it. We design our guitars to be comfortable to hold, easy on your hands, and built to last a lifetime. That means using modern technology, precision robot-cut frets, and carbon fiber reinforcement inside the neck so it never warps.
No gimmicks, just better quality: While others rely on nostalgia and flashy aesthetics, we focus on the stuff that actually matters—making sure the guitar plays perfectly, stays in tune, sounds incredible, and is built right here in Canada at a fair price.
Why did we create Birdman Guitars?
Birdman Guitars was born out of pure fascination with making things right. Growing up fighting through a revolving door of poorly made guitars planted a seed, but it was a deep-rooted perfectionism and an obsession with absolute precision that drove the vision. Tired of an industry blindly clinging to outdated 1950s designs, we decided to strip away the gimmicks and do the math. The result is a guitar built with uncompromising modern engineering, laser-focused craftsmanship, and zero patience for "good enough."
How Long Have We Been Doing This?
We have spent decades playing, analyzing, and refining guitars. Our experience comes from a lifetime of hands-on work - studying what makes an instrument feel and sound right, testing materials, and relentlessly perfecting the craft over many years. When we finally introduced our designs to the public, it was the result of a long, deliberate evolution. We didn't rush the process; we took the time to master it so that every guitar we build today stands on a solid foundation of real-world experience and uncompromising precision.
